Degraded authentication on 20416 IMSI range

Resolved

At 12:20 GMT+1 a subset of our authentication servers (HSS/HLR) lost connectivity to our authentication center (AuC) resulting in authentication rejects.
Only SIMs in the 20416 IMSI range was affected.

At 12:29 GMT+1 traffic was routed to a redundant AuC restoring normal service.

During the incident new subscribers were not able to attach to the network.
