Degraded performance for session authentication on 2G and 3G

We experienced degraded performance on 2G and 3G for new sessions trying to authenticate, which may have resulted in prolonged session initialisation times for some devices.
We experienced degraded disk performance on our authentication services, these have now been replaced and performance is back to normal.
